The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
Our military clinic remains open and we’re continuing to provide healthcare services. Scheduled appointments and procedures are proceeding as planned, and new appointments continue to be booked. Exceptional Family Member Program Medical  

What is EFMP-M? 

A mandatory DOD program which ensures active duty service members are enrolled due to their dependents that have a special medical, behavioral, and/or educational need(s).  

What conditions qualify for EFMP-M? 

 You may qualify for EFMP-M if you have (not exhaustive): 

  • Frequent follow ups from PCM more than once a year for a chronic condition including mental health conditions 
  • Referral for Specialty Care 
  • Behavioral Health Appointments (ADHD/ADD, Depression, Anxiety) 
  • Developmental Delays 
  • Autism 
  • Asthma 
  • Durable Medical Equipment need (eg: CPAP, feeding tubes, hearing aids. etc) 
  • Individual Education Plan or Individual Family Service Plan

EFMP-M Requirements for a Permanent Change Station 

Your next assignments EFMP-M requirements depend on where your next assignment will be located. It is important once you receive your assignment notification to go to MyVector for a Travel Screening Questionnaire. A TSQ will populate if your RNLTD is within 8 months. If your TSQ is not loaded (& your RNLTD is within 8 months) within 8 business days, please contact EFMP-M.
